1.Overview
This Refund and Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) applies to all purchases of digital products and services from AI Archetypes (https://www.elyscel.com), a service operated by Elyscel Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “Elyscel”), a company registered in Thailand.
We understand that purchasing digital content carries inherent uncertainty: you cannot fully evaluate it before purchase. This Policy is designed to balance fair consumer protection with the practical realities of instantly delivered digital content. Please read it carefully before completing your purchase.
By purchasing any paid product from AI Archetypes, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Policy.
2.Products Covered by This Policy
This Policy covers the following paid digital products available through AI Archetypes:
- Unlock 1 — Extended Insights: A one-time purchase providing extended archetype analysis, including the 4-axis dependency breakdown chart and detailed dimension insights.
- Unlock 2 — Career & Growth Path: A one-time purchase providing in-depth career path guidance, growth recommendations, and cross-archetype compatibility analysis.
- Bundle — Full Access: A one-time purchase combining Unlock 1 and Unlock 2 at a discounted price.
All products are digital content delivered electronically. There is no physical shipping component. Access is granted immediately upon successful payment confirmation from our payment processor.
The free AI Archetypes quiz and free archetype result are provided at no cost and are not covered by this Policy.
3.Standard Refund Window
We offer refunds within seven (7) calendar days from the date of purchase under the specific conditions described below. Refund requests submitted after the 7-day window will not be eligible, except where required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction (see Section 6).
3.1 Eligible Refund Conditions
We will issue a full refund if you meet at least one of the following conditions, verified by us:
- Technical failure: A technical issue on our end prevented you from accessing the unlocked content, and our support team was unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time.
- Duplicate purchase: You accidentally purchased the same product more than once on the same account or under the same email address.
- Non-delivery: You were charged but did not receive access to the purchased content, and our records confirm the failure was on our end.
- Unauthorised transaction: The transaction was made without your authorisation (e.g., card fraud), pending verification through our payment processor.
3.2 Conditions That Do Not Qualify for Refund
Because our products are digital content delivered immediately upon purchase, the following do not qualify for a refund:
- You completed the quiz, viewed your archetype, and then decided you do not agree with the result or its accuracy.
- You changed your mind after purchasing.
- You expected different content from what is described on the product page.
- You no longer have access because you cleared your browser data, lost your purchase confirmation email, or used a different device. (We can help you recover your access; contact us at [email protected].)
- More than seven (7) calendar days have passed since the date of purchase.
We encourage you to take the free quiz first and read the product descriptions carefully before purchasing any paid Unlock. This is the most reliable way to ensure the product meets your expectations.
4.How to Request a Refund
Because AI Archetypes does not require user accounts or collect email addresses during the quiz itself, all refund requests are processed through email correspondence using the payment receipt as proof of purchase.
4.1 What You Need to Provide
To request a refund, send an email to [email protected] within the 7-day window with the following information:
- Subject line: “Refund Request — [Your Order Number]”
- Full name as it appears on your payment method
- Email address used during checkout (the address that received the Stripe receipt)
- Date of purchase
- Order number or Stripe receipt ID (found in the receipt email)
- Product purchased (Unlock 1, Unlock 2, or Bundle)
- Reason for the refund request (referencing one of the conditions in Section 3.1)
- Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of technical errors, duplicate receipts)
Important: All information listed above is required for us to process your refund. Incomplete requests may delay processing or result in denial. We recommend forwarding your original Stripe receipt email when making the request, which contains most of this information automatically.
4.2 Processing Timeline
We aim to acknowledge all refund requests within two (2) business days. Eligible refunds are processed within ten (10) business days of approval and are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
We do not charge any administrative or processing fee for refunds. However, please note that our payment processor (Stripe) does not return the original processing fee to us, which we absorb.
4.3 Refund Limits
- Limit one full or partial refund per order number.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method only.
- We reserve the right to decline refund requests where we reasonably suspect abuse of the refund process (e.g., repeated purchase-and-refund patterns).
5.Chargebacks and Disputes
If you believe your refund request was unfairly denied, please contact us first at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank. We will review your case promptly and work in good faith to reach a resolution.
Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in:
- The associated account or email address being blocked from future purchases on AI Archetypes.
- Additional administrative review of any future refund requests from the same email or payment source.
These measures are in place to prevent abuse and protect our ability to continue offering the service to other users.
6.Consumer Rights by Jurisdiction
Nothing in this Policy limits or excludes the statutory consumer protection rights you may have under the laws of your country or region. The provisions below apply in addition to the standard policy above.
6.1 European Union and European Economic Area
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers in the EU and EEA generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. However, this right does not apply to digital content not supplied on a tangible medium if performance has begun with your prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal will thereby be lost (Article 16(m)).
If you have not yet accessed the unlocked content, you retain your 14-day withdrawal right. To exercise it, contact us at [email protected] using the same procedure described in Section 4.
6.2 United Kingdom
Consumers in the United Kingdom have equivalent rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. The same waiver and procedure described in Section 6.1 apply.
6.3 United States
Refund rights in the United States vary by state. Notably:
- California: Civil Code Section 1723 requires merchants to post a refund policy if they do not offer full cash refunds within seven days. This Policy satisfies that requirement.
This Policy is intended to comply with applicable US federal and state consumer protection laws. If you believe your jurisdiction provides stronger rights, please contact us.
6.4 Thailand
Consumers in Thailand are protected under the Consumer Protection Act B.E. 2522 (1979) and subsequent amendments. This Policy does not limit any non-waivable rights you may have under Thai consumer law.
6.5 Other Jurisdictions
If you reside in a jurisdiction not specifically addressed above (e.g., Singapore, Canada, Australia, Japan), this Policy applies as written, supplemented by any applicable non-waivable consumer protection rights under the law of your jurisdiction. 7.Service Discontinuation
In the unlikely event that AI Archetypes ceases operations or discontinues a specific paid product, we will:
- Notify all affected purchasers (where contact details are available) at least 30 days in advance, where reasonably practicable.
- Continue providing access to already-purchased content for the notice period.
- Issue pro-rated refunds where the discontinuation occurs within 30 days of a purchase.
8.Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, applicable law, or business practices. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that purchase. We will post the current version, along with the effective date, on the AI Archetypes website.
Material changes will be highlighted at the top of the policy page for at least 30 days after the change takes effect.
